Flora and More Mobile Application

The primary challenge for developing this mobile application was pulling the product data from Flora & More’s data storage facilities. Flora & More’s uses and Inventory Management and Point of Sale system to manage their product and inventory. The technical challenges for us came in the way of limited API documentation and very limited access to the data storage facilities and actual data itself. Our team essentially overcame these challenges by exposing the data through the API in a blind sense. We depended on our experience with similar systems to complete this programming challenge.

We took a strategic planning and full cycle development approach and engaged in the following activities:

• Functional and technical analysis of other mobile applications process’s with working models of various feature sets.
• Collaborative specification and requirement authoring
• Story boarding, screen wire framing and prototyping
• Full cycle end to end development mobile application and back end administrative development
• Beta testing with beta test groups
• Deployment and publishing to iTunes Connect and Google Play marketplaces.

It a really cool app for those in the floral industry .. useful for everything from researching product, shipping and even a source of inspiration.
