Challenge

Building MuSigPro presented multiple challenges, from accurate AI-driven scoring mechanisms to ensuring a lag-free live performance experience. One of the biggest hurdles was designing an automated vocal analysis system capable of evaluating pitch, tone, and rhythm without human bias. Additionally, the platform required real-time voting and audience interaction features, demanding a highly scalable infrastructure to handle thousands of concurrent users. Another technical challenge was optimizing audio and video processing for different network conditions while maintaining low latency and high quality.

Security was also a concern—ensuring fairness in competitions, preventing fraudulent votes, and protecting user data required robust authentication and encryption methods. Lastly, MuSigPro needed seamless multi-platform access, making cross-device compatibility and intuitive UI/UX design essential for user engagement.

Solutions

Tart Labs developed an AI-powered scoring algorithm trained on extensive datasets of professional and amateur singing performances. This machine learning model accurately assessed vocal quality based on pitch correction, tone matching, and rhythm analysis. To enable real-time interaction, we implemented WebSockets and cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, allowing seamless voting, live feedback, and instant leaderboard updates.

The mobile app was built with Flutter, ensuring a smooth experience across iOS and Android, while the web platform leveraged Next.js for optimal performance.
