Creating Aquarium Adventures for the Apple Vision Pro posed a unique set of challenges. Achieving realistic aquatic behavior for fish, turtles, sharks, and dolphins—while making them responsive to the user's presence—demanded custom AI systems and spatial awareness logic tailored for mixed reality. Additionally, designing a seamless experience across both Mixed and Immersive Environments introduced complexity in spatial anchoring, user interaction, and transitioning between modes.

To address these challenges, Frame Sixty leveraged the advanced spatial computing capabilities of visionOS, building custom interaction systems and intuitive AI behaviors for marine life. The experience was carefully optimized to deliver high-fidelity visuals and smooth performance, even with complex animations and multiple user interactions. A crystal-clear menu system was introduced for easy navigation, while support for both Immersive and Mixed Modes ensured that users could enjoy the experience in any context—whether sitting at their desk or walking through their living room. The final result is an experience that feels natural, magical, and deeply engaging.

Aquarium Adventures has set a new standard for immersive spatial experiences.
