Microsoft Bing Maps for Enterprise SEO & PPC Campaign

Description
Microsoft’s Bing Maps Platform enables developers to create geospatial applications through powerful API integrations. Microsoft engaged our team to reverse a post-2019 drop in organic traffic and leads for Bing Maps Enterprise. Through an integrated SEO and PPC campaign, we improved visibility and delivered over 35,208 qualified leads in just eight months.
Challenge
Microsoft’s Bing Maps for Enterprise had seen a steep decline in organic leads due to website changes made in 2019. The brand was at risk of discontinuation. Microsoft sought our expertise to reverse the trend and exceed pre-2019 performance. We also faced challenges in targeting a niche audience with technically complex needs, requiring both SEO and PPC strategies to be incredibly precise and high-impact.
Solutions
We started by conducting in-depth SEO and PPC audits. For SEO, we resolved critical technical issues such as redirect chains, broken pages, and metadata errors. We optimized 46 site pages and wrote 49 blog posts using niche, high-converting keywords.
For PPC, we launched intent-based ad campaigns across search, display, and video formats. We rebuilt landing page experiences and used custom audience targeting to improve conversion efficiency. Site structure and navigational elements were also enhanced for better UX and discoverability.
Impact
- 35,208 new leads generated in 8 months
- 492 new keyword rankings on first page of Google
- 27% increase in site traffic from organic sources
- 11.56% overall goal conversion rate
- 18.88% organic search conversion rate
- Bounce rate and session duration metrics improved, indicating better user experience and stronger content alignment.
The campaign exceeded Microsoft’s expectations and revitalized the Bing Maps Enterprise product unit.
