Description
“Audiokitab” is a project to inform people about classical and modern Azerbaijani and world writers though new technologies, to improve reading skills and to develop their reading culture.
Challenge
The main goals were:
1. To create a convenient and modern application for buying and reading books with ability to switch to audio format.
2. To solve problems of users of audiobooks and create a better experience than competitors.
Solutions
The comprehensive solution
- divides books in chapters and put breaks
- gives users option to request unavailable books
- collects information about users interests & preferences to make clear recommendations
- gives users more options of storytellers
- motivates users through challenges and gamification systems
Technology Stack: Flutter, Dart.
Impact
In Audiokitab, the user can listen and read their favourite books and buy new ones. When registering, the user will be able to get some content for free. It is possible to buy a subscription and become a member of the library, thereby gaining access to all books, except some that need to be purchased.
